PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Co-Founder, Director, Curator, Educator
MadKat Studios extends the resources of affordable gallery space for Solo and Group Exhibitions to diverse artists stemming from the BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Neurodiverse communities, using the gallery space as a platform for their voices and experiences. Conducts classes of varying sizes, age ranges and demographics to compound an understanding of art practices and skillsets within art and craft making. Lead Marketing designer and coordination with all social media platforms and outreach to community members of Elizabeth Forward Township of Allegheny County.
Freelance Fine Artist & Muralist
Designer and painter of community based murals featured in Aspinwall, and O’Hara Townships; both private and public. The involvement of local children was crucial in completing these works featured on the corner of Eastern and Commercial Ave, and Private residences’.
Artist in Residence
Fish Factory Creative Center Resident Artist at FFCC October and November with work exchange extension in Dec. 2021. Primary Focus while in attendance was on abstract landscapes, collage and ceramic sculpture. Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland 2021.
Studio Arts Educator
Frick Museum of Pittsburgh Studio Arts Teachers provides in-house and travel based art education to children of Wilkinsburg and surrounding areas. 2020
